The City of Wilhelmshaven inhabits one of the most important wintering sites for the Ruddy Turnstone in Lower Saxony. That is not a surprise as most of Wilhelmshaven´s coastline is completely
concreted - a habitat the Turnstone likes, but does not look very nice and natural!
